ProteX™ is a patented sperm collection device engineered to maintain specimen viability during and after collection. When used with media, it preserves motility for up to 24 hours, enabling flexible scheduling and reducing the urgency of immediate processing.

Yes. ProteX™ is FDA-listed, undergoes biocompatibility and toxicity testing, and has been validated in clinical settings.

At-Home Collections are shipped directly to patients and include all required components for either media-assisted (24-hour viability) or non-media (1–2 hour viability) collection. Detailed instructions and labeling are included to streamline accessioning upon arrival at the laboratory.

NovoSort® is a passive, non-centrifugation sperm selection system designed to enrich for progressively motile, morphologically normal sperm directly within the ProteX™ collection cup.

• Workflow efficiency: Allows collection-to-selection in a single vessel, reducing sample transfers and contamination risk.

Yes. NovoSort® is indicated for fresh ejaculated samples with progressively motile sperm. It is not validated for surgically retrieved or non-motile specimens. For frozen samples, contact RSI for separate handling protocols.

Both devices are designed for easy adoption without major equipment changes. Our clinical support team can assist with:
